We’d like to introduce Kate Jovin, our new communications and marketing writer. She’ll be making sure that you’re always in the know about our contributors, events, calls for submissions, and other devilish goings on.
Kate is a 2007 graduate of Brown University, where she concentrated in Literary Arts and Slavic Studies. She explored careers in publishing, teaching, and selling artisanal chocolate before landing in the world of public libraries. In her free time, she can be found taking classes at Grub Street, hosting bar trivia, talking about gender, going to readings, and defending the role of children’s books in the literary world.
