We’re thrilled to announce that Saturnalia Books has just released Thieves in the Afterlife, the debut collection of poetry by PDR contributor Kendra DeColo. We’re also proud that one of the poems from the collection, “The Dream in Which You Are,” was first published in Printer’s Devil Review—in our first issue, in fact.
Pulitzer-prize-winning poet Yusef Komunyakaa, who selected the collection for the 2013 Saturnalia Books Poetry Prize, described DeColo’s poems as “gutsy and urgent … a hardcore reckoning.”
If you live near Chicago, Iowa City, Newton, MA, Sarah Lawrence College (Bronxville, NY), Philadelphia, or Nashville, don’t miss the chance to see Kendra read live.
